1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SCARP website (scarp.co.in) or our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
SCARP is an authorized agent of Mahindra Cero and offers the following services in Kerala, India:
- ELV Scrapping — Purchase of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) for authorized scrapping
- Certificates of Deposit (COD) — Issuance of government-recognized CODs under the MoRTH Vehicle Scrapping Policy
- Green Spares — Sale of certified, refurbished auto parts from recycled vehicles
- COD Purchase — Sale of CODs to customers who do not have an old vehicle to scrap
3. Vehicle Scrapping Process
- Quotes provided are estimates and subject to final vehicle inspection.
- Payment is made upon vehicle handover and completion of documentation.
- SCARP is not responsible for any outstanding fines, loans, or legal disputes related to the vehicle prior to handover.
- RTO deregistration timelines are subject to government processing and may vary.
4. Certificate of Deposit (COD)
- CODs are issued in accordance with the MoRTH Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilities (RVSF) guidelines.
- The tax rebate and registration fee waiver benefits are subject to Kerala RTO rules and may change.
- SCARP does not guarantee specific tax savings; actual benefits depend on the RTO's assessment of your new vehicle.
- CODs purchased directly from SCARP (without scrapping a vehicle) are valid for use under the applicable state RTO policies.
5. Green Spares
- All green spare parts are tested and certified, but specific warranty terms apply per part.
- Availability of specific parts depends on inventory and cannot be guaranteed.
- Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their vehicle before purchase.
6. Pricing
All prices quoted on our website or over the phone are estimates. Final prices are determined after physical inspection of the vehicle or availability confirmation for spare parts. We reserve the right to update prices without prior notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
SCARP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Kozhikode, Kerala.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
